As we welcome November, I thought it would be nice to share some of our key moments at Hummingbird this October.

What a month it has been! Firstly, one of the biggest virtual and in person campaigns that we have ever conducted 20 workshops giving an awareness around menopause. Newsletters were emailed out to all hospital staff and to our corporate colleagues with hints and tips regarding menopause ready for the big day 18th October 23! 30 little bags of balance were ordered for staff ready for the face-to-face workshop that we did for our corporate client. They loved them so much another 10 orders came in. They had already cleared me out of all thing’s menopause. In the thick of it I was feeling quite shocked at how many women suffered through this time of their life, more support id defiantly needed, and one company has made it part of their mandatory training. Now October is over I am already being asked what else I can put together to support management teams. I literally started the campaign on the 1st of October and completed it on the 31st of October. I really loved the interactions, and I am ready to start phase two.
Next are the fertility affirmation cards. 32 affirmations completed by yours truly with a little help from my fertility community, and what a lovely lot they are! I always look at empowering the women that come into my clinic to support themselves and to put a plan in place. One of the things that we work on are affirmations and how they help in raising dopamine and serotonin levels – the love hormones. The holistic approach works well with the clinical complementary therapies I use. This was a joint effort, and they are so beautiful and just getting ready to be sent to print, with special thanks to Jilly for designing them. I literally can wait to be using them in my practice.
At the beginning of the month, we opened the doors to our Little Forest School! What a beautiful way to start the month. Located at the beautiful Grade Two listed building – Rainhill Hall we spent our time creating magical memories including our scavenger hunt, planting trees from seeds and making wishes with them and so much more. Excited to see what November brings for the Little Forest School. If you’d like some more information – check out our page or contact me. Special thanks to Katie for all of her help and support with Social Media.
